Take M5 to Exeter and then 45 minutes via A38 dual carriageway to Plymouth

From the M5 motorway, head towards Plymouth on the A38. As you approach Plymouth you will see the first exit off the A38- Filter off / turn off and this will bring you to a large roundabout.

Take the first exit A374 – Embankment Road, heading towards the city centre and you will see Sainsburys on your left. Follow this dual carriageway road for approximately 2 miles and the Plym Estuary is on your left hand side all the way.

The road then narrows and runs under a bridge, then onto another dual carriageway which brings you to a roundabout. Take the left hand filter lane, Exeter Street, heading towards the city centre.

For the Esplanade:

Staying in the left hand lane take the exit towards the Barbican. Follow the main road (Notte Street) past the Barbican until you come to a left hand turn signposted Lockyer Street. Follow this road all the way to the top towards the Plymouth Hoe. You will see the Esplanade Victorian Terrace at the end of this road.

For The Royal William, The Royal William Marina and The Brewhouse:

Take the left hand filter lane headed towards the city centre. At the Charles Cross Round About with the Bombed out Church, follow left the main road, Exeter Street leading to Royal Parade, through the city headed towards Devonport. After heading straight around two roundabouts, Royal Parade leads onto Union Street.

You will drive through an intersection with ‘Toys r Us’ on your right and Plymouth Pavilions on your left, you are now driving on Union Street, follow this road to its end at the second roundabout. Here you turn left onto Durnford Street and follow this road past the Royal Marine Barracks to a church on your left. The road bears around and you can see the gates for the Royal William Yard on your left.

Go through the Royal William Yard gates. There is 24 hour security at the gates but there is no need to stop here as the Yard is open to the public. Do not park on the main cobbled street as this is no parking. You can park on the side streets, in the visitor parking on the left or behind the Melville Building.

Plymouth has a train station which is very well connected with regular trains to London and the North (local connections may apply).
Closest mainline station in Plymouth central (2 Km) with frequent buses and taxis From the train station you can take a short taxi ride which will take you directly to the properties.

Brittany ferries to Plymouth, 1 Km away
Plymouth is home to Brittany Ferries which provides services to France, Spain and Ireland.
The Torpoint Ferry provides a direct link to Cornwall.

By Bus:

Plymouth has a coach station called Bretonside Bus Station, coach services to a number of UK destination and is very well connected to London and the North (local connections may apply). National Express run coaches from all over the country to the Plymouth Bus Station in the city centre:
