Camellia Walk, Mount Edgcumbe park: 5th March 2011. Mount Edgcumbe park is opposite the Royal William self catering and serviced apartment, across the Tamar.

Stay at holiday accommodation, The royal william and a short walk to the foot passenger ferry from Cremyll across the tamar to mount edgcumbe park. Something different for the Garden, Flower and camellia enthusiast.

Camellia Walk, Mount Edgcumbe

This is an opportunity to join the Curator of the National Collection of Camellias, held by Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, on a conducted tour of the collection that currently numbers approximately 1,000 cultivars.

Meeting at Barrow Car Park at 11am, the walk will take approximately two hours and costs £3.50 per person. Suitable walking shoes and clothing is a must on this outdoor adventure. Due to limited space, booking is essential. After the walk there will be an opportunity to purchase camellias grown at Mount Edgcumbe.
