The british fireworks championship August 2012 Plymouth

Tuesday 14 to Wednesday 15 August 2012

The most anticipated event in the city's annual events calendar will see thousands of spectators heading up to the Hoe for two evenings of entertainment culminating in spectacular fireworks displays. This year will be the Champion of Champions competition in which the winners from the past six years will compete for the prestigious 'British Fireworks Champion of Champions' title.

The event can be viewed from Plymouth Hoe with entertainment starting from 6pm with live music as well as fairground rides and refreshment stalls. The first firework displays will start at around 9.30pm each evening as dusk arrives.

Champion of Champions Dates Announced

The 2012 Champion of Champions British Firework Championships will take place on 14th & 15th August 2012 in Plymouth.

The winners from the last six years will all return in the hope of becoming the Champion of Champions 2012. They are (in winning order):

  • 2006 Champion of Champions – Jubilee Fireworks
  • 2007 – Selstar Fireworks
  • 2008 – Pendragon Freworks
  • 2009 – Phoenix Fireworks
  • 2010 – Star Fireworks
  • 2011 – MLE Pyrotechnics
